Reves One is a graffiti artist from London - one half of the duo Reves & Sidok, his unique visual style blends lettering & portrait with a ‘curious surrealism’ - think bold neon, geometric patterns and abstract lettering .
What's your style / perspective / taste? Do you have a project that represents this?
"I like to label myself as a Neon-Noir Illustrator, that sets the spectrum my work. I do a blend of surreal high-contrast portraiture veiled in bold neon colours with geometric patterns and shapes, then I spice it up with abstract lettering. I would like to position myself as the unborn child of Tristan Eaton and Aykut Aydoğdu.
I like being many different genres. I am against the limitation of one medium and that you have to fit a certain case to be appreciated. I'm not quite an illustrator, not quite a muralist, not quite an animator, I'm exploring all that is in between and a broader range of people tend to like it."
