BONDTRULUV

Jonas, aka Bond Truluv, is a an accomplished artist from Leipzig, Germany who has honed his craft since starting as a graffiti artist specialising in murals to now developing a style that blends futurist abstract and architectural illusion.
What's your current style / perspective / taste? Do you have a project that represents this?
‘I generally feel, I have lots of different styles to offer. I do very quick and intuitive freestyle work, where I just paint a set of letters (could be anything, thats the challenge) in different styles that I feel comfortable with at the time. Usually those take like 3-4 hours and I enjoy them a lot to keep me in shape.
But I also like the projects with lots of planning ahead, where the conceptualisation of the final mural and the animation of the whole augmented reality part sometimes involves more time and energy than the actual painting process. It is great to put a lot of effort into a large building and enjoying the outcome.
‘Then I have the very minimal "circle" series that gained a lot of attention online and some videos went viral with up to 20k new followers over night (Hypebeast, Juxtapoz, etc. even Justin Bieber reached out to invite me on a project!)
‘It is something to dive in, discover and get lost in the details and overall mood of the piece. The AR gives me the fantastic possibility to actually make my piece moving around, which is, what I always wanted to achieve in order to get the perfect illusion. For me it still is quite close to creating magic..’
